Eve Lom Cleanser and the Cleanse line

The Cleanse line brings together all of Eve Lom's facial cleansers. They share the house's signature aromatic blend, with eucalyptus, clove, chamomile and hops oils, and the idea that cleansing shouldn't dry out the skin: according to the brand, its signature cleanser is available in various textures and the formulas help keep skin hydrated for hours after rinsing.

The Cleanser, the original balm

The Cleanser is the product with which the brand was born in 1985, created by facialist Eve Lom. It's a balm with cocoa butter and a lipid complex that cushions and protects the skin; it removes makeup (including waterproof makeup), cleanses, hydrates and, with the muslin cloth, gently exfoliates. At IM Beauty it comes in three sizes: 50 ml, ideal for trying it out or travelling; 100 ml, the classic format, and 200 ml for those who already use it daily. The 40th Anniversary Heritage Cleanser is a limited edition of 100 ml with the same original formula in a commemorative 40-year packaging.

How to use: warm a small amount between your fingers, massage onto dry skin and remove with the muslin cloth soaked in hot water, repeating twice and finishing with cold water.

Other cleansers in the line

• Cleansing Oil: a silky oil that removes waterproof makeup, sunscreen and impurities without leaving a greasy feel. With squalane, biolipids and coriander seed oil; also suitable for sensitive skin.
• Cleansing Oil Capsules: the oil in individual doses, with omega fatty acids and botanical oils. Each capsule is plant-based and biodegradable, practical and hygienic for travel.
• Gel Balm Cleanser: a gel texture that melts into a balm, with shea butter. It's applied to damp skin and works as the first or second step of a double cleanse.
• Foaming Cream Cleanser: a cream that transforms into foam on contact with water, with fermented pumpkin enzymes. Cleanses without drying out and leaves skin feeling fresh.
• Muslin Cleansing Cloth: pack of three reusable 100 % cotton muslin cloths, to remove the Cleanser or masks and gently exfoliate.

How to choose your Eve Lom cleanser

• For the full experience: the Cleanser with muslin cloth, in the size that best suits you.
• If you wear a lot of makeup or SPF: Cleansing Oil or the capsules as a first step, followed by Gel Balm or Foaming Cream.
• If you prefer a foaming cleanser: Foaming Cream Cleanser.
• For travel: Cleansing Oil Capsules or the 50 ml Cleanser.
