When the shine gets ahead of your skin, pores become more defined and blemishes start to appear—you don’t need to “dry out” your face, but to restore its balance. SEGLE Biotech’s Purifying Mask is a deep-cleansing treatment with seaweed and white smectite clays that unclogs pores, regulates excess sebum, and mattifies, while keeping the skin hydrated, comfortable, and full of vitality.

Smart purification: deep cleansing without drying out

Formulated for normal, combination, oily, and acne-prone skin, this mask works like a localized detox: it absorbs excess oil and toxins, loosens the dirt that has built up in the pore, and reduces shine, while also providing water and comfort thanks to its hydrating base and the presence of glycerin. The result is skin that is cleaner, more matte, and more even—never tight.

  • Deep cleansing: helps unclog pores and reduce the appearance of blackheads and blemishes.
  • Mattifying effect: controls shine and leaves a visibly more even finish.
  • Balance and hydration: prevents the feeling of dryness thanks to humectant actives.
  • Prepared skin: optimizes the penetration and effectiveness of subsequent treatments.

Marine biotechnology: the remineralizing power of seaweed

At the heart of the formula, we find a complex of three marine seaweeds—Spirulina, Chlorella, and Fucus—that provide minerals, micronutrients, and a powerful protective action against environmental stress and blue light. The skin feels stronger, more balanced, and visibly healthier in tone.

Spirulina: defense against blue light and digital aging

Spirulina is an extraordinary microalga extremely rich in proteins, vitamins, and repairing enzymes, capable of protecting DNA from damage induced by the blue light from screens and the sun.

  • Protects against blue light and digital stress, one of the new factors of aging.
  • Neutralizes free radicals and helps prevent photoaging.
  • Soothes irritation and reduces inflammation in reactive or acne-prone skin.
  • Provides energy and vitality, leaving the skin looking more rested.

Fucus vesiculosus: comfort, softness, and protection

Fucus extract, a marine seaweed rich in mucilages and minerals, acts like a softening veil that provides hydration and comfort to skin that has undergone deep cleansing.

  • Soothes and provides comfort to sensitive or irritated skin.
  • Helps reduce inflammation and strengthens resistance to environmental stress.
  • Helps keep the skin hydrated and protected after rinsing.

Chlorella vulgaris: support for redness, acne, and rosacea

The microalga Chlorella vulgaris is especially indicated for skin prone to redness, acne, or rosacea, thanks to its calming and regulating action.

  • Helps reduce redness, especially on the nose and cheeks.
  • Improves the appearance of skin with acne or rosacea, providing a more even tone.
  • Complements the sebum-regulating action of the clays without compromising comfort.

White smectite clays: clean pores, matte finish

Selected white smectite clays act as an “imprint” for impurities: they absorb sebum and toxins from the skin surface while releasing minerals beneficial to the skin.

  • Help to unclog pores and minimize their appearance.
  • Absorb excess oil, leaving a matte and even finish.
  • Provide minerals that help keep the skin re-mineralized and balanced.

Glycerin: hydration that balances the formula

Glycerin, a classic high-tolerance humectant, ensures that the purification phase does not translate into dehydration.

  • Attracts and retains water in the skin, providing immediate and long-lasting hydration.
  • Helps keep the skin soft, flexible, and elastic.
  • Strengthens the barrier function, preventing the feeling of tight skin after the mask.

Application ritual: the detox moment of your week

Use SEGLE Biotech Purifying Mask 1–2 times per week in your nighttime routine. After cleansing—ideally with double cleansing if you use makeup or sunscreen—apply an even layer to the face and neck, avoiding the eye contour.

Leave it on for about 10 minutes, enjoying its purifying and mattifying effect. If you notice it starts to dry out, you can lightly dampen the skin with water or a mist to maintain comfort and promote a more gentle removal. Rinse with plenty of lukewarm water and pat the face dry with gentle touches. Continue with your usual eye contour, serum, and cream: the skin, now purified and re-mineralized, will be ready to get the most out of every active ingredient.

To enhance its benefits, you can precede it with a gentle mechanical exfoliation using SEGLE’s Soft Volcanic Exfoliating Mask: by removing dead cells, marine algae, and clays, the actives work with even greater precision, and the skin looks even more refined and luminous.

Skin type and time of use

This mask is designed for normal, combination, oily, or acne-prone skin that wants to control shine and pores without giving up hydration. It can be used on young and adult skin, as a weekly purifying treatment or as a “reset” for specific times during periods of stress, pollution, or flare-ups of shine. For very dry or extremely sensitive skin, it is recommended to space out its use and always combine it with highly hydrating and soothing treatments.

Preguntas frecuentes
