Pure Retinol Eye Contour is designed for those seeking more than a simple eye contour: a true high-performance overnight treatment for the delicate eye and lip contour area. Its multifunction formula combines liposomed pure retinol, marine retinol from blue biotechnology, and a new-generation depigmenting and soothing complex to smooth wrinkles, reduce puffiness and dark circles (vascular and pigmentation-related) and restore the skin’s original radiance to the gaze, with excellent tolerability.

Visible results in the gaze and the lip contour

This treatment has been formulated to act simultaneously on the main signs of aging and fatigue in the contour:

  • Smooths wrinkles and expression lines in the periocular area and along the lip contour.
  • Reduces puffy areas and vascular (violet) and pigmentation-related (brown) dark circles, refining the tone of the under-eye area.
  • Unifies the tone and visibly improves the radiance of the gaze.
  • Provides a calming, decongesting, and regenerating effect—ideal for dull contours or those showing signs of fatigue.
  • Strengthens the skin barrier, improves hydration, and enhances comfort for the face’s finest skin.
  • Lightweight cream-fluid texture, with quick absorption and a silky finish—perfect for a nighttime routine.

Who is it for?

Pure Retinol Eye Contour is suitable for all skin types, except for pregnancy and breastfeeding, and is especially recommended if:

  • You’re concerned about expression wrinkles, crow’s feet, or the “barcode” lines.
  • You have puffiness and violet or pigmentation-related dark circles that give a tired look.
  • You notice the contour area is dehydrated, dull, or has lost firmness.
  • You want a well-tolerated retinol eye contour, supported by calming and repairing actives.
  • You want to incorporate a powerful anti-aging contour into an advanced nighttime routine.

Retinoid technology of the latest generation

Liposomed pure retinol 0.15% — The gold-standard anti-aging, encapsulated

Retinol is the reference active in anti-aging dermocosmetics. In this eye contour, it is presented in a 0.15% liposomed form, which improves its stability, penetration, and tolerability in such a delicate area as the eye contour.

  • Stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, helping to smooth wrinkles and expression lines.
  • Accelerates epidermal renewal, improving skin texture and uniformity.
  • Helps unify the tone and blur small spots and signs of photoaging.
  • Helps regulate excess sebum and refine the appearance of pores in combination skin or skin prone to acne.

At the cellular level, retinol modulates gene expression, which explains its deep transforming capacity on skin quality.

Marine retinal 1% — Blue biotechnology with high efficacy and tolerability

The marine retinal comes from a complex of liposomed carotenoids from the microalga Chlorella vulgaris, obtained through blue biotechnology. It works with the same mechanism as pure retinal, but with superior tolerability thanks to its encapsulation and biotechnological origin.

  • Activate cellular renewal, refining skin texture and improving its surface feel.
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin, helping reduce wrinkles and sagging in the contour area.
  • Adds radiance and helps even out the under-eye tone.
  • Protects against oxidative and environmental stress, crucial in an area constantly exposed.
  • Provides the benefits of a powerful retinoid with a high tolerability profile.

Depigmenting & anti-dark circle complex

2% Tranexamic Acid – Innovation in spots and pigmented under-eyes

Tranexamic acid is one of the most interesting active ingredients for treating complex dark spots such as melasma or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It acts on the inflammatory pathways that activate melanocytes, responsible for the production of melanin.

  • Reduces the intensity of dark spots and pigmented under-eye circles (brown tones).
  • Even out the tone of the contour and adds a more homogeneous halo of radiance.
  • Calms the skin and reduces inflammation associated with hyperpigmentation.
  • Helps prevent new hyperpigmentation from appearing in the area.

Licorice extract – Anti-spot and anti-inflammatory action

Licorice root extract, rich in glabridin, completes the approach to pigmented under-eye circles.

  • Lightens spots and helps create a more even tone.
  • Calms the skin and reduces the appearance of redness and irritation.
  • Offers protection against oxidative damage and free radicals.
  • Especially beneficial for sensitive contours or areas prone to irritation.

Decongesting and anti-fatigue complex

Caffeine and horse chestnut – Under-eye puffiness and vascular under-circles under control

The formula combines a duo of key actives to treat puffiness and under-eye circles of circulatory origin: caffeine and horse chestnut extract.

  • Caffeine stimulates microcirculation and has a decongesting effect that helps reduce puffiness.
  • Its gentle keratolytic action supports renewal of the skin surface and the penetration of other actives.
  • Horse chestnut, rich in aesin and flavonoids, improves circulation and reduces the buildup of fluids.
  • Both actives work together to soften harsh vascular under-circles and bring freshness to the eyes.

Soothing and repairing complex

Calendula, chamomile, gotu kola, and aloe vera – The flower of sensitive skin

To balance the strength of retinoids, the contour area includes a selection of calming and regenerating plant extracts:

  • Calendula: calms redness and irritation, supports repair, and protects against external aggressions.
  • Chamomile: rich in flavonoids and essential oils such as bisabolol, reduces inflammation and improves comfort for sensitive skin.
  • Gotu kola: stimulates collagen synthesis, speeds up repair, and provides antioxidant action.
  • Aloe vera: hydrates, soothes, and helps regenerate damaged skin, providing immediate freshness.

Ceramides and biomimetic lipids – Reinforced barrier, more resilient contour

The delicate skin of the under-eye area needs a strong skin barrier. The complex of ceramides Essential lipids (Ceramide AP, Ceramide NP, glycosphingolipids, cholesterol, squalene) take care of that:

  • Repairs and strengthens the skin barrier, reducing water loss and dryness.
  • Improves hydration, elasticity, and flexibility in the area.
  • Protects against external aggressors such as cold, pollution, or irritants.
  • Helps the skin tolerate intensive treatments better, such as retinol and retinal.

Vitamin E – Complementary antioxidant shield

Vitamin E (Tocopherol and Tocopheryl Acetate) provides additional antioxidant protection:

  • Neutralizes free radicals and slows down accelerated aging in the eye contour area.
  • Strengthens the skin barrier and supports more stable hydration.
  • Calms mild irritations and reduces redness.
  • Prevents the appearance of new spots and enhances the action of vitamin C when combined in your facial routine.

Night application ritual

How to incorporate it into your routine

Pure Retinol Eye Contour is designed as a night-use treatment that should be introduced gradually, especially for sensitive skin or skin that isn’t used to retinoids:

  • Initiation phase: apply at night, 1–2 times per week, to a clean and completely dry eye contour.
  • Amount: use a small dose (equivalent to a grain of rice) and spread it using the fingertip of your ring finger.
  • Technique: perform a gentle massage or light taps following the orbital bone, from the inner corner toward the temple, avoiding direct contact with the eye.
  • Progression: if the skin responds well, increase to 2–3 nights per week and, subsequently, alternate nights until you reach nearly daily use.
  • Sun protection: in the morning, always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen on the entire face, paying attention to the eye contour area.

For particularly dry or reactive contours, you can apply a very light layer of a specific eye moisturiser a few minutes after, to enhance comfort without interfering with the retinoid’s action.

Usage tips and compatibility

  • Avoid using it simultaneously in the same routine with other eye contour products that contain retinoids to prevent overloading the skin.
  • It can be combined in the overall routine with antioxidants (such as vitamin C) used in the morning to enhance protection and radiance.
  • If mild flaking or a feeling of dryness occurs, space out the applications and strengthen hydration with products rich in ceramides and panthenol.

Preguntas frecuentes
