Water of the Queen of Hungary

The Water of the Queen of Hungary is a vitalizing body tonic that rejuvenates and refreshes the skin, acting as an enhancer for the entire range of body products from ALQVIMIA. It is an alcoholic-aqueous fluid that evaporates quickly upon contact with the skin, leaving it subtly perfumed.

This is a Vitalizing Alchemical Body Tonic formulated with a highly pure and extraordinarily tonifying and revitalizing alchemical rosemary tincture, produced under conditions that replicate the manufacturing principles followed by the alchemists of the Middle Ages for Queen Isabella of Hungary, who was famous throughout Europe for her beauty.

The Water of the Queen of Hungary is composed of the purest and most powerful plant-based raw materials. An extraordinary synergy of active ingredients, 100% natural, with a stimulating fragrance for our senses and offering a highly tonifying and revitalizing effect, preparing the skin to receive and enhance the effectiveness of any body treatment from ALQVIMIA. It is formulated from plant-based actives such as rosemary tincture and a synergy of essential oils of Rosemary, Bergamot, Petitgrain, Lemon, Lavender, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Clove.

Details

In Hungary, during the Middle Ages, there lived a queen named Isabella, famous throughout Europe for her great beauty and power of seduction. Legend has it that over the years, Queen Isabella noticed how her health and beauty were fading. One day while riding through the forest, she encountered an alchemist and asked him to prepare a lotion that would help her regain her health and attractiveness. The alchemist created a lotion with an alchemical tincture of rosemary to which he added some rejuvenating and refreshing essential oils that gave the preparation a delightful fragrance. In no time, Queen Isabella regained her lost health and beauty.
That formula, famous throughout Europe during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, is still remembered as the Water of the Queen of Hungary.

At ALQVIMIA, we continue to produce the Water of the Queen of Hungary by imitating the manufacturing processes of the alchemists, when the rosemary flowers were harvested on a special day and hour and were used to prepare an alchemical tincture. The alchemical tincture used in the process undergoes three calcinations and three macerations. Then, to this alchemical tincture, we add a synergy of Essential Oils of Bergamot, Petitgrain, Lemon, Rosemary, Lavender, Frankincense, Clove, and Myrrh and let it macerate for several months before being bottled with extreme care.
