How C-Tetra® works

The skin contains natural antioxidants that act to defend against free radicals in the environment. When these environmental free radicals overwhelm the skin's antioxidants, the skin can no longer protect itself. Free radicals attach themselves to defenseless skin cells, causing irreparable damage, ultimately leading to premature skin aging.
  1. C-Tetra protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals, as it contains vitamin C to increase the skin's natural antioxidant defense levels. Vitamin C is a fundamental pillar of our CSA philosophy, as it is one of the most powerful vitamins for preventing signs of premature skin aging. The science

"It is exceptionally difficult to formulate a long-lasting vitamin C serum that maintains its power over time. It is notoriously unstable, sensitive to oxidation and can often turn yellow, indicating that it has been lost. The C range -Tetra from Medik8 uses an extremely stable form of vitamin C, called tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate.
