Thanks to the expert use of food-grade aromatic molecules, natural acids, and pyrazines, the banana accord appears juicy and creamy, while the facets of ice cream, caramel, and chocolate envelop the skin with an almost tactile warmth.

Exceptional sillage and longevity

Like all Ultra-Gourmand™ perfumes from Jousset Parfums, Banana Split has been formulated with a high concentration of perfumed oils (between approximately 27% and 32%, depending on the creation) and subjected to a meticulous maturation and maceration process. First, the oils are left to rest for two weeks at controlled temperature; then, the mixture macerates for a minimum of six weeks once the alcohol is incorporated. The result is a fragrance with great projection and outstanding longevity on the skin.

Even after bottling, the perfume can continue to evolve, gaining roundness and depth over time. If you notice small variations in intensity, simply let the bottle rest for a few weeks and spray it occasionally to promote oxygenation and gently accelerate its maceration.

Protected formula and gourmand realism

To achieve this level of realism, the house works with natural-origin acids and pyrazines commonly used in the aromatic and food industry (present, for example, in coffee, cocoa, or roasted nuts). These materials, used in rigorously controlled concentrations and compliant with international safety standards (IFRA), allow for the precise recreation of the creamy, toasted, and caramelized texture of the authentic banana split, while making the duplication of the formula extremely difficult.

Origin and savoir-faire

Banana Split has been created by the in-house perfumer of the maison, Jimmy Bodin, and is handcrafted in the independent atelier of Jousset Parfums in France. Each bottle reflects an intimate vision of olfactory pleasure: an ultra-gourmand niche perfume that does not seek to please the majority, but to seduce uncompromisingly the true lovers of sweet aromas.

How to use

  • Apply the extrait de parfum on clean, dry skin, on pulse points such as the neck, behind the ears, collarbones, and wrists.
  • For a more enveloping trail, you can lightly spray on clothing (always at some distance and avoiding delicate fabrics) or on a scarf.
  • To maximize the gourmand intensity, combine it with a neutral body routine or with light vanilla notes, avoiding shower products or lotions with very floral or citrus fragrances that may compete with the composition.
  • Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct light to preserve its evolution and olfactory richness.
