Cafè Affogato is part of the Ultra-Gourmand™ universe, a new vision of perfumery that puts traditional floral and woody accords in the background to focus on what truly awakens desire: the smell of freshly ground coffee, chocolate, toasted sugar, and baked desserts.

To achieve this level of realism, food-grade aromatic molecules are used, such as pyrazines and natural acids, the same compounds responsible for the flavor of coffee, caramel, roasted nuts, or cocoa. These raw materials require patience, precision, and a long process of maturation and maceration to unfold all their complexity.

Sillage, Longevity, and Maceration Process

Like all Ultra-Gourmand™ perfumes from the house, Cafè Affogato is formulated to offer a powerful trail and exceptional longevity. Its rich and complex composition needs more resting time than a conventional perfume:

  • Initial Maturation: a phase of approximately two weeks, during which the perfumed oils rest at controlled temperature before adding alcohol.
  • Prolonged Maceration: a minimum of six additional weeks, during which the different components fuse, gain depth, and reach their maximum harmony.

In many cases, the perfume is already fully mature before shipping, but time always works in its favor. You may notice slight variations in intensity during the first weeks; the olfactory profile remains, but the fragrance continues to “breathe” and develop in the bottle.

Usage Tips

To fully enjoy the creamy richness and coffee character of Café Affogato, it is recommended:

  • Apply to clean, hydrated skin, especially on pulse points: neck, behind the ears, wrists, and the inner part of the elbows.
  • Avoid rubbing the wrists after application to not alter the evolution of the notes.
  • If the perfume has just arrived, spray a few times in the air or on skin and let the bottle rest for a few days to promote oxygenation and complete the maceration.
