- Moringa extract is a breathable film former that sits on the skin's surface to provide exceptional defense against pollution, helping to smother free radicals before they can damage the skin.
- Carnosine is a multitasking dipeptide that protects from both glycation and infrared light. Glycation is a natural aging process in which dietary sugars react with proteins such as collagen, transforming them into advanced glycation end products (AGEs) that cannot be renewed, causing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Advanced Day Total Protect uses carnosine to help inhibit the glycation reaction and keep skin protected from glycation-related skin aging. Carnosine can also protect the skin from infrared rays, which make up about half of the sun's rays and may be involved in the breakdown of collagen.
- Finally, Advanced Day Total Protect contains antioxidant theobroma cacao seed extract to mitigate the negative effects of blue light emitted by the sun.
How to use Advanced Day Total Protect
- As the last step in your skincare routine, apply a liberal amount (¼ teaspoon or 5 pumps) of Advanced Day Ultimate Protect to your face, adding more to your neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye area.
- Apply with light upward movements and let it absorb.

The science
COCOA SEED EXTRACT
Defense against blue light is provided by theobroma cacao seed extract, an ingredient sustainably sourced in Peru. The extract is obtained from a rare and premium variety of cocoa: Criollo Porcelain, often known as the most expensive chocolate in the world. Blue light has a very similar wavelength to harmful UV rays and studies have shown that it can cause hyperpigmentation and free radical damage. Containing peptides and cocoa saccharides, cocoa extract helps maintain the skin's photoreceptors while fighting harmful free radicals to prevent damage caused by blue light.
