How it works

An Ultimate Recovery nourishing biocellulose mask suitable for all skin types. This hydrating mineral mask can be used as a weekly hydrating treatment or whenever the skin needs a boost.

1. Biocellulose masks are made up of millions of tiny natural fibers tightly intertwined, forming a microthin sheet resistant to breaks and tears. Biocellulose is capable of holding several times its own weight in liquid and is infused with an ultra-hydrating, lightweight serum. The tiny fibers adapt perfectly to contours and expression lines to ensure an optimal level of hydration where it is really needed. 
2. By enveloping the complexion in a veil of hyaluronic acid, the serum draws water from the lower layers of the skin and the atmosphere to rehydrate the upper layers. Infused with mineral zinc, the mask supports the skin's natural balance and natural healing process, while rockweed algae extract improves hydration levels and combats free radicals. The skin is nourished, refreshed and calmed.

How to use

1. After cleaning, remove the mask from the aluminum bag and unfold it
2. Remove one of the outer protective layers and spread the biocellulose mask over the face, taking care to align the eyes and mouth.

3. Remove the second protective layer and relax for up to 15 minutes

4. Gently remove from face and massage remaining serum into skin

5. Use as a weekly moisturizing treatment or whenever the skin needs a boost.

Hyaluronic acid

Rockweed Seaweed Extract

A species of brown algae with an extraordinary mineral content.Rockweed algae promotes hydration and provides antioxidant protection. 

Bio-cellulose

Tightly woven natural fibers form a veil so fine that it is able to conform to the finest lines and wrinkles for optimal delivery of the light serum infused within the mask.

Science

Zinc is an essential mineral used by the body to promote its natural defensive system. In the Medik8 Ultimate Recovery Bio-Cellulose Mask, we use a specialized version of zinc, called Zinc PCA, which has been fused with PCA, a moisturizing molecule found naturally in the skin. This hybrid ingredient helps hydrate and care for the skin, leaving it smooth, soft and supple. Interestingly, zinc PCA has also been found to reduce sebum levels, which may even help keep blemishes at bay.
