Science
Dragon fruit, native to Mexico, is grown from the night-flowering cactus (Hylocereus undatus), which blooms only at night. Also called moonflower, the white, scented flower produces succulent dragon fruits 30 to 50 days after blooming. Dragon fruit has high levels of antioxidants to protect the skin and is packed with natural sugars to firm and tone the skin. The fruit has even been studied for its wound-healing properties.
