How it works
- Advanced Day Ultimate Protect sunscreen is powered by DNA repair enzymes. Exposure to UV rays can cause DNA damage, with the consequent effect on natural processes such as free radical defense mechanisms and collagen production. Photolyase, a light-activated enzyme, supports the skin's natural repair mechanisms to prevent the future formation of visible fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation caused by UV exposure. Photolyase is encapsulated to optimize its penetration into the skin, providing next-generation anti-aging results including healthier-looking, more resilient skin with a natural glow.

- Advanced Day Ultimate Protect contains sustainably sourced cranberry seed oil, a natural shield against blue light. Blue light from the sun can cause free radical damage or visible hyperpigmentation in the complexion.Cranberry seed oil is able to absorb blue light before it reaches the skin, minimizing the damage from blue light exposure.
- Marrubium vulgare extract provides superior anti-pollution defense to limit damage caused by environmental pollutants, protecting skin cells and helping to strengthen the skin barrier.
- Carnosine is a multitasking dipeptide that protects from both glycation and infrared. Glycation is a natural aging process in which dietary sugars react with proteins, such as collagen, transforming them into advanced glycation end products (A.G.E.) that cannot be renewed, leading to the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. How to use
- Using your fingertips, apply a thin layer of Mutiny to your lips, as many times as necessary. Apply a thick layer at night to work as a nourishing overnight lip mask.
- Use light, upward movements and allow it to be absorbed.

Science
"No sunscreen is capable of blocking 100% of UV rays from the skin. Even a perfectly applied SPF 50+ only protects against ~98.3% of UVB rays[1], leaving a ~1.7% UVB rays that can still affect the skin and have the potential to affect its health - one of the most worrying effects is direct damage to DNA Although our skin naturally contains proteins. Called DNA repair enzymes, which work to limit the damage caused, their number reduces as we age[2] Our solution is to replenish the skin's natural levels of DNA repair enzymes by applying them topically in Advanced Day Ultimate Protect.
